Embossed Birthday Cards
I made a couple of cards using some new embossing folders I bought recently. I used Core'dinations Whitewash paper and sanded the embossed images. I love how it turned out.
For this card, I used the Bricks embossing folder by the Paper Studio. The windows were cut using the Creative Cards Cricut cartridge, and the kittens were cut using the Kate's ABC's cartridge. I used Flower Soft on the flowers, and ink the edge to look like grass.
For this one, I used the School of Fish Cuttlebug embossing folder, a few brads to add a little more color, and chalked around the edges. It made perfect card for a guy who loves to fish.

Red White & Blue Birthday Card - Mojo Monday 275 Contest

When I saw the sketch for this week's challenge on the Mojo Monday blog, my first thought was, I need to make something red, white and blue with that. I do have a couple of cards to make for July birthdays, so, one down and one to go!
I used the Swiss Dots Cuttlebug embossing folder for the red background, and the Distress Stripes folder for the blue strip. The 2 round shapes were cut with punches. The Happy Birthday was computer printed and then punched out, and the rocket and firecracker are stickers.
This card is also a  "used my stash" project to post on the Cricut message board.
Speaking of stash, I tried to eliminate some of it yesterday by having a table at a local scrapbook store "yard sale". I made a little money and got rid of quite a bit of stuff I no longer wanted, so I was happy.

Valentine Card - Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge 274

I made this card using the sketch for this week's challenge at Mojo Monday. I thought it would be fun to create something from a sketch, and it was also a way to make myself sit down and do some crafting! I am also going to post it on the Circut message board as part of the "Using My Stash" challenge. I so need to use up some of this mountain of stuff I have! ( so I can buy more, of course!)
I used my Sophie Cricut cartridge to cut the flower in several different sizes and attached it with pop dots between each layer, and a Martha Stewart edge punch for the hearts border. The sentiment was printed on my computer. Not much to it really, but it still took me hours - I get so caught up in details, I make myself crazy!+

Easy to make notebook

I recently bought a notebook that I thought would make great Christmas gifts for my co-workers, so got busy and figured out how to make something similar. This one is for a guy who loves to golf. The embellishments are a Jolee's set.

Here are the others I made for the girls:
I did not put embellishments on the inside of these, but love how they all turned out.

Not your typical Welcome card

There is a story behind this card, so although it is not your typical Welcome card, it was perfect for the situation, and the recipient loved it!
The cow was cut using the A Quilted Christmas Cricut cartridge, and the grass was a hand cut scrap from a previous project. The font was a free download and printed with my computer.

Wine Birthday Card

I have finally done some crafting again, making a few cards. I just totally lost interest for a while, so I'm hoping this is the end of that!
I made this easel card for a co-worker who likes wine. The wine bottle/glass cut is from the Cricut Summer in Paris cartridge, and the corners are cut from the Picturesque cartridge. The sentiment was stamped using a Fiskars stamp set called Age to Perfection.
